What is Finance?

Just an overview:

Webster define it as money resources, income or plainly put the science of managing money.

Wikianswers define it as a set of activities that deals with how you manage your funds.

So the big question?

Do you need to know a little bit of finance or are you just satisfied to let your brokers or financial advisers handle it for you?

Well in my opinion one should at least know a little bit of finance basics whether s/he is a graduate of business course or just plain Jane's or Joe's.

Why?

Because its our money and we should know where it is going. Where your asset managers or brokers put it, how much the rate of returns and stuff.

Start taking charge of your future and do a little bit of research on mutual funds, investments, savings at a much higher rate of return because simply put finance deals with all matters relating to money and markets.

Be wise. Be knowledgeable. Take charge of your finances.
